RARE
Starting on Saturday, July 13th, 2024, a new Rasslemania feature was established to help manage the increase of wrestlers added to the wrestling roster. Saturday Night RARE (a parody of Monday Night RAW) was created to facilitate preliminary matches prior to the main Rasslemania events in order to give people a chance to participate in matches while also fighting for a spot in the roster for Rasslemania events.
Starting with the first draft on July 13th, 2024, the way the system works is after every Rasslemania event going forward a draft is done which is a public event where various divisions are randomly populated. Each division has four or more wrestlers assigned, and wrestlers within a draft would generally fight other wrestlers within their division to determine who moves forward to compete in the following Rasslemania event later in the year. After all preliminary matches are ran and the Rasslemania starting bracket is ready, additional RARE matches are put together and ran which have no actual bearing on the main event, but are done for just bragging rights and for fun. These preliminary matches for Rasslemania and other "fun" matches are ran during the months and weeks prior to the next main event during the dedicated RARE segment of the show done during the second hour of the GFtDS stream. Initially, seven divisions existed in the draft to help with the determination of the preliminary matches (Yee Dino, Diarrhea Lady, (Not the) Easter Bunny, Pith Helmet, I So Pale Lady, Ketchup Boy, and Action Basket). Later, an Elaine Wells division was also added to the mix, bringing the number of divisions to an even eight.
