Rasslemania Divisions
To democratically decide who fights who in order to qualify for each Rasslemania, a randomized selection process is made in order to file everyone into divisions. There originally were seven divisions, but an eighth division was added when more people were added to the roster to help level things out to four wrestlers per division. Later on more people were added to the roster, but the division count will remain at eight for the foreseeable future.
The divisions are as follows: 1) Yee Dinosaur 2) Diarrhea Lady 3) Not the Easter Bunny 4) Pith Helmet 5) I So Pale Lady 6) Ketchup Boy 7) Action Basket 8) Elaine Wells
Matchups are performed (generally) within each division, so qualification matches are done against people within the same division. Selection of the pairings are done by taking the first and last listed in a division and pairing those together. Example: For a division with four wrestlers, 1 and 4 are paired together, and 2 and 3 are paired together. In the off-chance a division has an odd number of wrestlers, there can be matchups between divisions. The majority of the wrestlers within a division are matched normally, but the middle-most wrestlers is paired with the middle-most wrestler in the adjacent division. Example: For two divisions with five wrestlers, in both divisions 1 and 5 are paired, 2 and 4 are paired, and the 3rd from each division are paired together. The goal of the qualification matches is to narrow the qualified wrestlers down to sixteen wrestlers that will make their way to the following Rasslemania event. This can require additional matches within some divisions in order to resolve the number of wrestlers in each division to only two wrestlers per division qualified to go to Rasslemania. In the event of this, those qualified within the first round of matches are pitted against each other in a pairwise combination, and eliminations are done based on official losses outweighing the number of wins. For example: For a division with three previously "qualified, but pending" wrestlers, 1 and 2 fight, 2 and 3 fight, and 1 and 3 fight. Whoever loses both their matches is eliminated, and the remaining two are officially qualified to go to Rasslemania. If each wrestler wins at least one match, these matches are done again until someone loses both their matches and two wrestlers are official qualified.
