To start off the new year of 2022, Koop and Jason put together a special event titled, "GFtDS Rasslemania." This inaugural special event was designed to include the show's hosts, as well as as many past guests and Patreon patrons interested in joining the event. In the first GFtDS Rasslemania event, the game was played out in "Fire Wrestling Pro World." Koop made sure to customize the design of each player to at least somewhat match their real-life persona and/or how they wanted to be represented. A few character models, however, fell outside of these guidelines (Jarrod, Joe, Keely, and Jake), as they were actually created by the people they represented in the game, instead. Along with the characters' appearances, Koop also created custom intro music for each player based on the requests of the players. Refereed by none other than the lovely Anna Kendrick (or at least an avatar representing the lovely Anna), after many exciting matches, the victor of the first GFtDS Rasslemania was Caig Law. Although the game wasn't configured for it at the time, he won the "SIPS Champ" belt. Porkchop was involved in both the Highest and lowest rated matches of the night.
Since Rasslemania's first installment, Koop has tentatively scheduled further special events under the "GFtDS Rasslemania" title spaced apart every 3 months to allow for planning and production time involved with continued additions and new features to the format. Starting with Rasslemania II, pre-fight interviews were introduced, which were video clips of either Jason or Koop interviewing wrestlers voiced by the very people behind each wrestler (with the exception of Samuel, as he requested to just have nonsensical content played instead of his own voice). All the pre-fight interviews are the combination of original audio recorded recordings from the wrestler that have been chopped up and restructured to form a new narrative that is then scripted for Jason and Koop's video made in front of a green-screen. The resulting videos are then played before the applicable wrestler's first match. Further ideas have been tossed around and future Rasslemanias are sure to have similar additions to keep things interesting.
