He'd offer up unique musical tunes, but the beauty of the show was the bits he did between sets. Early on, Jimmer was looking for additional content to add to his program and happened to be chatting with Jason at the time and was asking him for some ideas. Jimmer is a successful comedian and actor now, so finding the time for such a project has been a challenge, but the two have continued to discuss ideas for such a program to come to fruition all these years since.	+	From about 2011 to 2014, James "The Jimmer" Dunn did a radio show every Tuesday out of Chicago, IL for the [https://wluw.org WLUW radio station]) called "Wooden Breakfast". He'd offer up unique musical tunes, but the beauty of the show was the bits he did between sets. Early on, Jimmer was looking for additional content to add to his program and happened to be chatting with Jason at the time and was asking him for some ideas. Jason, Jimmer, and Koop all worked together back somewhere around 1996 or 1998 or so doing clerical work (initially just sealing mailing envelopes), and would often pass the time by joking around while working. Jason forwarded Jimmer some voicemails Koop had been leaving on Jason's phone, which was a way for Koop to pass the time when he was literally stationary in traffic during his hour and a half drive to a client's every morning for a programming job he was doing at the time (it should have been a 45 minute drive, but due to construction they'd close the highway down at a couple spots down to one lane and alternate every 15-20 minutes or so). Koop would leave weird character recordings on Jason's voicemail, knowing Jason was too busy to answer his phone at the time. Jimmer appreciated the recordings and invited Koop to provide pre-recorded content for awhile to be included on his show. Eventually, Jimmer would take calls and the two would write some ideas together for calls and then Koop would call in and the two would perform and ad-lib them live on the radio show. It was a lot of fun, but on October 7th, 2014, the very last Wooden Breakfast episode aired with Jimmer and Koop in studio. The two have been in talks since, and technically, Games From the Drunk Side actually originally started as a test bed for Koop to learn how to use OBS and combine his programming skills in a live production setting for a more visual extension to Wooden Breakfast (but likely in a different name and context) and have Jimmer and Koop working together on more comedy again.
