September 18th, 2021, Koop awoke from a nap that was one of the most detrimental to him. During a rather stressful time of his life, for whatever reason "restfully sleeping Koop" became "quite active, and very aggressive Koop", as he awoken to his face being pummeled with a fist. The irony, is it was his very own fist doing the punching. He quickly stopped throwing punches, but unfortunately the damage was already done by that point, and his cheekbone quickly swelled up to the size of a mandarin orange. He iced it, and applied pressure to help minimize the swelling, but it took many weeks for the nocturnal assault to be less noticeable. He still has some discoloration in the area of impact to this day, but he started wearing a boxing glove to bed to avoid a similar outcome from happening again in the future.
